Turmeric the Immunity Booster

Turmeric tops the list when it comes to boosting immunity in children and adults. It is known to strengthen the body’s internal defence mechanism by improving blood circulation. If there’s poor circulation, white blood cells cannot reach the source of infection.

The Wonder Spice

The root has been used as a digestive aid and a culinary spice for many years. The main active ingredient in turmeric is curcumin. This is the compound which gives it its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Inflammation is the cause of many chronic diseases that deteriorate health. So consider humble haldi to be an anti-inflammatory superhero.

Haldi is also used as a medicinal herb. It’s healing properties include anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, antiseptic, anti-microbial, anti-viral and even anti-carcinogenic.

So, it’s time to get the yellow back in your life. Here’s how.
