Pasta and More: Awesome new food truck in Goregaon east

foodtruckgoregaon_pastaandmore

GHP loves discovering hidden gems in the neighbourhood. After the authentic Mangalorean kitchen, Rasoi Kamaal, here’s another great food-and-drink find!

Food trucks are slowly rolling into the neighbourhood. Yes, Goregaon east is getting it share of four-wheeled food drives too. Pasta and More is a great food truck in Goregaon east serving some awesome dishes.

Where can you find this food truck in Goregaon?

On Film City road. This little food truck has been parking itself in front on Satellite Gardens for about two months now. And it has already got a strong client base in Goregaon east. The Pasta and More menu includes pasta (obviously), pizzas and sandwiches – all with a twist.

What you can eat at this food truck

You can grab a plate of nachos pasta or a pasta pizza. But most of all, you must grab (and try not to share) the chocolate sandwich. Generously slathered with choco spread, toasted perfectly and then drowned in chocolate sauce and shavings, this one is a real winner at this Goregaon food truck. Definitely makes its mark on the food scene in Mumbai.

Nachos Pasta and Cheesy Garlic Bread

The pastas are all cooked on a charcoal sigri and really soak in the singed flavours. Cheesy garlic bread is also available for those who need this pairing.

For now, the menu remains vegetarian due to the on-going Shraavan season that doesn’t see too many non-vegetarian food orders in Mumbai. Aftab, the owner of Pasta and More, is happy with the great response his pioneering food truck has got from the residents in the Goregaon area. “Families, working professionals – all have been ordering in or coming here for their dinners and really enjoy the food we serve”, he says.

Parking a verdict

Neat, clean, compact and very modestly priced – this food truck at Goregaon is worth an evening out. A meal for two would lighten your wallet by about 400.

While you wait for your meal to be freshly prepared, you could also check out the other thelas around – there’s Rani’s Kolkata Rolls, Dan’s Momos, sandwiches, chat and south Indian snacks. But don’t gorge too much – save space for the Pasta and More food truck and allow it to park itself in your belly for one evening!
